How much water do they need For easy bowel movements without the help of stool softeners and prunes.

Omg my daughter barely drinks water it can be a struggle. We just try and make sure she eats a lot of fruits and had access to water if she wants it. Fiber gummies help keep her regular!

Probably around 5-6 cups a day of water and some milk. Agree with the diet comment - my kid eats a ton of fruit and has never had an issue with bowel movements

Hmm..Maybe it isn’t a water issue if he drinks enough? Maybe more fiber in his diet? Or fruit? I notice a big difference between my 5 yr old and 3 year old’s stools…my oldest eats a well rounded diet with a lot of fruit and has wonderful bowel movements, however my youngest doesn’t eat the greatest (you know how you slack off with each child? 🤦🏼‍♀️) and her stools are more hard and pellet like if I am not attentive to push her towards better food choices…

We aim for 2 water bottles a day (16oz is 1). I’m bad about drinking water myself but my husband is a “water pusher” lol.
