Help am I having a miscarriage?

I've been experiencing sharp pains in my lower abdomin and I just went to the toilet and there was light blood on the tissue am I having a miscarriage I am 6 weeks pregnant

I've been bleeding off and on for over a week, tonight it got worse but they still told me only to come in if I was in pain or the bleeding was heavy enough for a regular pad. They said all they can do is a sono to check for heartbeat but I'm too scared to go. I have an appt Tuesday for a sono, hopefully everything's fine. Good luck, drink lots of water and rest as much as you can.
