Period pains 7 weeks pregnant

I’m 7 weeks pregnant and have pains which I’ve been to the hospital for and everything seemed fine and everyone has said it’s round ligament and things are stretching.

I’ve got period pains all the time and have done since the beginning. Is this normal? I’ve been told that it’s sensitive and that there’s more blood there than normal but I’m still feeling them. I was told to ring up if the pain gets worse which it’s not getting worse but I can still feel all different types of pains.

Has anyone else had this? When does it calm down? I think everything has going in the right direction as the morning sickness has kicked in now haha
