False or accurate?

I am four days late for my period and today i took a pregnancy test and got a positive result. I am afraid that i may have my hopes up for nothing and this could be a false positive because earlier today i took an azo pill (thought i felt a uti coming on). I of course plan to go see my gp asap to confirm my results with a blood test or whatever they do. Have any of you ladies had experience with this before? Could the azo have affected my results?

Update!

I went to the doctor the morning after posting this. The doctor got a negative on the urine test and so they took my blood to do a blood test as well. I am waiting to hear back from them about my results in the next day or two. I took a second at home test that afternoon as well. The dye version came back negative and then i started bleeding shortly afterwards and have been doing so steadily since. My husband and i are both so confused and disappointed. Im still holding onto a vain hope that the blood test will show positive but now i have so much doubt

Results came back today, Unfortunately it was a false positive and i am not pregnant.
