When to start mat leave (Canada)

I just started back at my job after taking 14 months mat leave with my daughter. And honestly i fucking hate it.

I’m 23 weeks pregnant again and technically i can start my new mat leave as of 24 weeks pregnant. (Its like that in my province- not sure about other provinces). I spoke to the mat leave place and i have enough hours and it would be ok. Im really tempted to take it as soon as I can.

I would have another 12 months paid. But the downside would be my mat leave would be up early with this baby but anyways we decided i wouldn’t be going back.

The only reason I did go back this time is because i wanted another paid mat leave.

So should I just say fuck it and take it ASAP. I really dont see the point of waiting tbh.
