7 year age gap between oldest and youngest? - how was it for you?

I have 2 girls aged 7 and 3.5 and I'm due with my next baby (team green) on Halloween! My dream has always been to have 3 kids but my in laws keep telling me I need to have another to "make it even" because this baby will feel left out or my oldest will since they are "sooo" far apart in age 😢

There’s a 7 year gap between my sister and I and we have always been really close. Growing up she was my shadow and still is now at 14

My sister and I are 6 years apart and we’re always close. As a young child I didn’t feel as  connected to her though because she was 7 grades ahead of me and we weren’t into the same stuff. But as I got older probably around 12/13 she had her first kid (she was 18) we got super close and she is my closest sibling to this day!

I’m the youngest of 3. My sisters are 10 and 8 years older than me. To be honest, my parents were a lot more flexible with me (they were older) and that created jealousy towards me when growing up. But after teenage years, we became super close! I don’t know if I would’ve liked to have a sibling closer in age

I’m a middle child and then my mom had a baby 15 years later. The two other siblings I grew up with, we’re all pretty close. My 6yo brother I’m not nearly as close with, but that’s because I’m living on a college campus and doing big things in life and he’s just now starting school, so that age gap is definitely an influence. However, I still love him dearly and he has even told me that he thinks I’m his mom because he remembers me raising him (my mom wasn’t a very good one). I cried because I thought he’d never know. So I’m his favorite sibling lol. But he’s so sweet, but I feel very guilty about not seeing him more, but I have to do what’s best for me in my life right now. So the 15 years difference has an impact for sure, but my other siblings are 23 and 16 and I’m 21. We’re all very close

I have a 6yo, 2yo and am due in December. My 6yo is so excited for another baby and there was a good gap between him and the 2yo due to a miscarriage. I personally don't think age gaps mean much because we all love eachother and my boys get along so well. Not to mention your in laws have nothing to do with your decision to have more children or not. We're only having 3 because that's what we want lol I really could care less about anyone else's opinion.

Middle child was 7 turning 8 when my son was born and it was amazing the older kids let me sleep in they knew how to make their own breakfast (nothing using electricity) and were a great help with feeding etc etc.
