I think my water broke?…

Question

I’m 34 weeks 1 day today and this morning I got up from my chair and felt a wet spot on the back of pants. I know I didn’t sit on anything wet lol. It’s like the size of a cookie. It wasn’t just discharge but it felt like soaking wet in that area. I just called my midwife’s office and she’s with a patient right now and will call me back when she’s done for some advice. I feel completely fine and will continue on with my day. I’ll keep you guys posted probably nothing but idk.

Update 2: All is well. Baby is fine and moving. I checked in and they swabbed me to rule out infection, from what they see so far they said my water didn’t break but I am 1-2 CM dilated which isn’t uncommon for someone as far along as I am (34 weeks). Doctor plans to wait for results of swabs, do a scan, and if everything is all good send me off home.  So yea might’ve been a false alarm. I’ll keep you posted

My sister works for a pregnancy clinic and I was scared mine had broken the other day so I texted her. I know it's not always a gush, it can be a trickle, and I've heard it can be hard to tell in that case.
One of the nurses she works with said to take off my pants and underwear and walk around the bathroom for 5-10 minutes. If I feel it running down my legs then my water broke. I knew it wasn't that much liquid so I felt better going about my day ignoring it. Turns out I was fine. I just wanted to share that tidbit in case it happens again. Might be a good way to test.

I get bad condensation lately. I don't sit for long but feel wet when I stand. Put on a Panty liners and see if it's collecting fluid. But yeah stay posted with your doc.

Update 1: My midwife suggested for me to go  to the hospital triage to get checked out. I’m on my way right now. Since I’ve posted I’ve felt slight  vaginal discomfort when walking at times and very light cramps but nothing out of the ordinary. I wasn’t able to get liners because of time but thank you to those who suggested it. Baby is moving. Will post again when I get to the hospital.

Update 3: I’ve been discharged and all is well. The doctor said it was likely cervical fluid that I felt but if I ever feel a gush of fluid along with any other concerns to call my midwife or come straight in. I have an appointment set for with my midwife for next week along with a growth scan as well. Today just made me feel even more confident that I won’t make it to my due date lol. The fact that I’m 1-2 cm dilated makes me feel nervous but I’ll be taking it easy.
