Anyone ever had a huge sudden drop hcg level?

My blood hcg level was 431 3 days ago…(and 89 before that so it definitely doubled), but then less than 48 hrs later when I tested again it was THREE! 431 to 3 in 48 hrs! I have had no symptoms of miscarriage/chemical pregnancy, no bleeding or severe cramps. Please tell me the lab was wrong? Has anyone ever experienced something where lab blood hcg was wrong? My MD is having me go back again today. I am 5 weeks now, so it’s early.

Something sounds off for sure if you tested positive on a hpt.

Unfortunately you're most likely about to miscarry. 3 isn't even considered pregnant

I had something similar and it was a missed miscarriage. It took a couple days for my body to catch up and then I started to bleed. I hope you have a better outcome

I did go from 945 to 40 in 2 days then down to 7 in another 2 days when I had a miscarriage but I was well into the miscarriage at 945 so I’m hoping it’s not that for you and it’s just a error at the lab which can definitely happen.💕

Something seems off about this for sure. I’d ask for another test.
