HELP.. 28weeks, anyone have decreased babe movements?

I’ll be 29 weeks on Friday but the last few days I don’t feel the babe moving as much. I don’t know if it’s cause they are head down and maybe facing my spine ? I feel turns and pushes but not like crazy kicks and punches like last week. I called my obgyn and they didn’t seem concerned. They said as long as the babes moving you’re okay and some days babe may be more active then others. Anyone else have this happen ? What did you do ? Also have been having some minor cramping, doc said that’s normal also.

Although any movements count, if you’re feeling less movement in a day you should always get checked out! A slowing down of movements can be normal, but could also be the first sign that baby isn’t happy in there!

I totally feel you on this. I make myself panic and talked my out of an e/r visit behind it. When I hit 27 weeks he was moving like crazy, almost felt like he was trying to come out . Now almost a week later , I feel him turn his body and back to little thumps and a glitch feeling in my belly

Movement is what matters. Not only kicks. Not strength. 
Movement! Rolls, flips, flops, turns, elbows, balling up…etc.

Third trimester it’s expected that movements decrease which is why you’re advised to count them. If your MD isn’t concerned then I’d carry on as baby is doing well.
