Anyone with 3 kids in car seats. Do you prefer captain chairs or bench seats in your SUV?

Just trying to decide which would be best. I have an almost 3 year old, 4 year old, and due in January with our third baby

CAPTAIN all the way! My 6 year old seats himself in the back third row in his booster and then I have the two littles in the second row. My husband has his truck and all kids in the back and it’s pretty crammed!

I prefer bench. Had captains chairs and got rid of it for bench. You also need to pay attention to where there are top tethers, how seats fit, etc. so many things to think about really! I think my choice could change from one car to the next/depending on who is forward facing/rear facing, etc. Highly recommend checking out “the car mom” on Instagram! She reviews cars and is a certified car seat specialist!

We have bench seats and I'm very sure I'd prefer captain seats but a new car just isn't an option right now. It's just a pain to have to constantly move the seats forward
