Single Umbilical Artery

Me

I had my 20 weeks ultrasound and my baby girl looked great with the expectation of the fact that the umbilical cord has a single artery instead of two. My midwife told me that my pregnancy is most likely going to continue to be a normal, healthy pregnancy but that I should get a growth ultrasound at 32 weeks (since this could lead to growth restriction) and offered genetic screening to make sure it wasn’t related to anything genetic. I hadn’t done a NIPT previously because it hadn’t felt necessary but I had it done today.

Idk why I’m even posting this. Maybe looking for someone who has experienced this or maybe just some extra support. I know it’s not a big pregnancy complication, but it was just enough to throw me an make me a little anxious.
