Screaming at Bedtime

My 5 month old has been doing this for a couple of months now. Every night when we get ready for bed, as soon as we bring out the jammies, he starts screaming. His head gets beat red and screams like he is in pain. It’s so loud I had to put ear plugs in last night to get through it. I believe it’s cause he knows his bottle is coming next and just doesn’t want to wait for it. He’s fine and calms down once the bottle is in his mouth. Is this a phase or do I need to change things up?
