Sex during Ovulation

Okay so me an my SO, have been having sex for a couple of months but I'm afraid to have sex while I'm ovulating. I don't wanna get pregnant, I'm not on the pill we just use condoms as our EC. Should I not have sex during my ovulation period or just do what I usually do ( use condoms and pullout method ) ?
