What age did you let your kids play in another room?

Since real small can’t remember the age. As long as the room is child proof it’s okay

8 months now and my baby will be in her playpen and I’ll be doing stuff all around the house

Depends on the kid. My first? Under 1. But he's never been a trouble maker. I just kept the bathroom door closed and I don't have stairs. 
My second? About 1. He's special needs but not too much of a trouble maker. 
My third? Couldn't tell you. He's a major trouble maker but he's also very clingy and never even wanted to play in another room until he was 1.5. He's my shadow.

Under 1 - I just made sure the room was baby proofed and that I could easily hear if my babies needed something.

Under 1, I would be in the kitchen doing whatever while she played in the living room or her room.

With child proof room,  door closed and monitor,  age 2. With roaming between upstairs, downstairs,  door open playing,  age 3.

Depends on the child, some of my kids I could leave alone younger than others depending on their degree of troublemaker lol
