Brown discharge and blood ?

I am 9 weeks pregnant 
I have been spotting for four days, I went to see my dr on Friday but she reassured me there was no hematoma by USG and just might be old blood ??
But today it has increased and I have thicker brown discharge with slight cramps 
Is it a miscarriage? 💔

Brown blood isn’t of concern however cramps show the uterus may be under strain. Have you had a scan?
