Is this normal ?

Right so my period been causing me some hassle for a while now went from being very normal and regular, to coming very very heavy and sometimes late sometimes early to then some points not stopping! At this point I knew something wasn’t right and went to the doctors ( around august last year ) I had an internal and external ultrasound which came back normal , had swabs been tested for every sti everything normal. kind of went back normal I just been forgetting bout it however the last few months have been worse than ever, my period never comes on time anymore still very heavy when it does come and I’ve gone from a 4 to 6 day long period, to 7+ day periods. Now I’ll have my period it stops and a couple days give a take I start bleeding again not so much a period and kind of werid colour sometimes a nasty smell I Carnt explain to. It’s not full flow and doesn’t constantly come out but it’s there I had been off my period for 1 day this month and have been having this ‘spotting ‘ kind of period still to this day ?

I’m really getting concerned now something isn’t right , has anybody been through something like this and had a positive outcome ?
