Did getting your membrane swept put you in labor?

Getting my membrane swept Monday, 39+1
How soon after did it put you in labor?
How many weeks were you when you got it done?
Or was it a failed attempt?

Answer

I was told it will only work if the body is ready. I haven’t personally had one but if you are I’d recommend doing some birth prep to make sure your cervix is ready.
