My 16 month old is in daycare cause i went back to work a few months ago. I’m 28 weeks pregnant due early January.

My husband and I decided I would take early Mat Leave cause my job is just bringing me a lot of stress (im in canada so I get 12-18 months). I will take it as of December 1st.

Now my issue is I feel horrible being home “doing nothing” while my toddler is at daycare. But I also don’t want to take her out of daycare cause spots are sooo hard to find and she’s enjoying herself. I also will want her at daycare while I care for the newborn.

My husband said that I wont be sitting doing nothing” I’m making a whole baby and I should take this time to rest and start getting ready for baby as we didn’t buy one thing yet. (Hes amazing)

I have so much mom guilt over it though.

Any supportive comments or advice?
