How often do you pump if you’re exclusively nursing?

If you’re exclusively breastfeeding how often do you pump? For those pumping to freeze/donate milk. I know if you’re exclusively pumping it’s every 3-4 hrs. But if you just wanna pump to store/donate milk how often do you pump and for how long?

I pumped once in the middle of the night while my daughter was sleeping (about 12-14oz total) and then I’d give her a bottle first thing in the morning and pump again (another 8-10oz). I’d also use my haakaa throughout the day.

I just pump at night before I go to bed what’s left in both boobs since they will have a longer stretch

I would just pump while at work and froze the extra milk from that.  I didn’t want to pump in between actual feedings.
