Why Wasn’t I Included?

My husband used to go to his cousins a lot without me. I didn’t really mind bc I’m not very social anyway. Come to find out a lot of times he was there with just his cousins wife when his cousin wasn’t home yet. I told him I was uncomfortable with it and he eventually stopped. Mind you, I’ve tried to be social with the wife but she would never say more than a sentence or two. She would just talk to my husband. This is why I was uncomfortable. Anyway, she and her husband split up like 3 months ago and I just found out my husband has been talking to her on the phone every other day and texting every day. When I confronted him about it he just pulled the “oh you don’t trust me?” Im so hurt. And he’s acting like I’m crazy. He says he’s just making sure she and her kids don’t need anything but that’s not his concern and why didn’t he include me if there was nothing to hide? I don’t even want to be near him right now.
