My husband doesn’t respect me

We’ve been married a little shy of 3 years. He took out a 40 thousand dollar loan and didn’t tell me until after the loan was approved. I confronted him and he said that he didn’t feel the need to tell me since it was his account. Mind you I am on the same account as well. He added me to it after we got married. I am beyond livid that I am considering a divorce. What will you do?

Edit: he stated he took it out to help pay off our credit card, and he applied to see if we will be qualified, he chose the option of applying independently instead of jointly smdh. I tried to tell him that before he got on the laptop and started the application that's when we should have talked about it. Also told him that there's no Independent loan application whilst being married. He was looking at me like I was speaking a foreign language. I don't l on what to do since we have a 17 months toddler and we are currently stationed overseas
