How to improve my curl routine
My hair curl pattern is about a 2c/3a, but also my hair is very fine and thin. So I want the curls to come in, but I'm also worried about product weighing my hair down.
I've been training my curls which is working out mostly fine, except on the top of my hair it's like, really flat. Ive been thinking of using perm curlers in those sections?
I'm also a bit overwhelmed but the products... Leave in conditioners, curling creams, gels.... I am using spray in conditioner at the moment, but that's it. I don't know in what sequence I should be using anything else, and how.
Basically what I do is I wash and condition, and with the conditioner in my hair I curl my hair around my fingers and then leave the conditioner in while I finish my shower. Then when I'm done I use a t-shirt and just squeeze some water out, then spray in my leave in conditioner. Then I squish, squish, squish and wrap my hair in a t-shirt. I think this is what makes it flat though. Then after about half an hour I take my t-shirt out and leave it to air dry. I don't have a hair dryer at the moment.
What do I need to do to improve?
Thanks!
