Internal Exam??

Hey ladies!! I’m sorry if this is a stupid question!

So I’ve only had one internal exam since turning 21 (I’m not sure if this is the same everywhere but my gyno doesn’t do them until 21)!

I have an appointment this upcoming Thursday so that she can refill my birth control! (I have to go in to see her after so long of refills). Well, not even realizing I will be mid flow.. I know it’s their job but for some reason I am mortified knowing Ill be on my period and the heaviest day at that.

I was wondering if they still do an internal with you on your period?
