If I only had sex day after ovulation..

How do I consider how many dpo I am? I ovulated 8 days ago, but never had sex til 7 days ago.

I usually test at 10 dpo so want to do that again. But in this case since I missed sex before in ovulation week, should I consider myself 8 dpo still, or should I test 10 days from the day I had sex?

I know they say wait til missed period, but I am just wondering tracking-wise do I consider myself 8 dpo still or 7? Maybe a dumb question lol
