What do contractions feel like?

Hey, I’m sorry if this is a weird question but I’m generally curious. My stomach has had this tight feeling to it all day and it’s just super uncomfortable, nothing unbearable though. I’m currently 25 weeks pregnant and my OB always ask me if I feel tightening in my stomach. Should I be concerned? Also wondering what they felt like to you mommas, so I can be prepared. This is my first pregnancy and I can’t went in blind.

Trust me if it were contraction you’ll know, braxton hicks just felt like a weird feeling but they didn’t hurt. Contractions were more extreme and it was hard to breathe

Those are Braxton Hicks. Real contractions feel like you are cramping - and as you go farther along are full on Charlie horses that leave your muscles burning and sore. The location can vary. My first I had them in my lower back, second and third it was in the lower part of my belly.

Sounds like Braxton hicks. My actual labor contractions felt like I was about to push out the biggest BM of my life. They were similar to the cramps you get when you have diarrhea or constipation.
