How often did the doctor check you after 36 weeks?

I am 38 weeks I had my checkup now but the next appointment is on my due date on 40th week. Is this normal? Shouldn’t they give me another appointment next week? Should I call the doc and ask for one? How many appointments did you guys have?

Usually it’s once a week starting at 36 weeks. At least at my OB.

I never get checked until I'm in active labor but have always had weekly appointments beyond 36 weeks.

Mine is weekly after 38 weeks im 40 weeks and now twice a week I go before I'm induced next week hopefully he comes on his own though,  you can ask to be seen again , and I regret asking to be checked twice because if it's not what you want to hear it's discouraging,  for me at least.

Just call up there and get an appointment scheduled. I usually schedule multiple appointments in advance before leaving the office.

Mine was weekly after 36 weeks and I was induced 37+3 so I only had one appointment left but scheduled all the way to 40 weeks
