am i pregnant?

so a couple of days ago i randomly started spotting really lightly for a little less than a day and my was a light pink color. ive also had light cramps. i’ve never bled

i between periods and i’m afraid this is implantation bleeding. my boyfriend and i have had unprotected sex a couple times but only for a few minutes at a time before i made him put a condom on. i took a test the day i was bleeding and it was negative. but was it too early to test??
