I’m 25 weeks with a little boy. Right before we found out we were expecting, my husband’s fav uncle passed away. He was heartbroken and still is and wants to name the baby after his uncle. Not his whole name, but one of them. His name was Wendell McKinley. I have a niece named Kinley and I really do not like Wendell. I can’t even really find anything to go with either name. My husband and I were talking about Forrest until my mom said “You ain’t really gonna name that baby Forrest are you?” So now I’m pissed off that I told anyone any name ideas we had. Idk, I don’t know what to call this baby at all and I’m sad that he doesn’t have a name yet. Im scared we aren’t going to have a good bond because he doesn’t even have a name yet. I just refer to him as “the baby.” Literally nothing goes with Wendell and that’s the name my husband wants. I just want to say forget it and name him something else. I mean I won’t, because it’s special to my husband, but I want to. 🥴
