Ovulation after first positive or darkest test?

We were only able to BD once this cycle on CD15, my peak wasn't there yet when I tested in the afternoon just before BD but I knew it was coming soon and I had a TON of EWCM...I tested LH again in early evening a few hours after BD and it was positive 1.40.. The next day at noon, I felt some twinges, some pressure on my right side. My ovulation test right after those twinge showed my peak at 2.55. Could it be that I ovulated like 15 hours after the first positive? I read something recently that you should go from your first positive, not necessarily the highest number cause you could miss it by that point. I am hoping that the one BD same day I got the peak after is enough to be hopeful for as we didn't have time to do it again! 🤞
