High chair or no high chair? Babe eats more on my lap or on the floor

Thoughts on this ? I’m all aware of the choking risks. It’s just my observation that he eats more out of the high chair. How do you feed your babies? Babe is 11months btw.

High chair. Nobody wants to always have a kid sitting on them to eat. I’ve made mine sit in a high chair as soon as they could sit with  assistance especially when out to eat. I don’t want them to expect to sit in my lap while I’m eating and I have to break that habit as they get older.

Once he gets older he’s not going to stay on your lap to eat. High chair is the best option now and when he gets older.

High chair, always. I've never let any of my three sit in my lap to eat. Meal times are for eating only. High chair until around 12 months, then booster seat at the table until they are no longer required to be buckled.
My 5 y/o & 2 y/o were both in normal seats before two. My 4 y/o is still strapped in a booster cuz he won't stay at the table to finish eating.

Definitely high chair!! My soon 3 and 5 year old uses their chairs for all meals.

High chair but it doesn’t have to be one with  a tray. Most kids do better when against the table jusy like you are

I have one that sits on the  regular chair as well. Both my kids used to when they were able to sit up on their own. It would drive me nuts if they always say on my lap!

100% high chair. From day one of solids we did all meals and snacks in the high chair, at the table.

My 2.5 year old is still in his high chair he started in at 6 months. It pushes right up to the table now so it's just like a regular chair for him but it has a support seat so he can't fall out. Stokke Tripp Trapp is the kind. It's super nice! You can probably find a second hand one on Facebook.

I got one of these for my son at 1yr and it's great!!! I love it and it's compact and you can easily move it around with you or travel with it. I got a safety first brand which was only $25 @ walmart
