Anyone know?

Question

I found this little lizard/gecko on the playground today (SO glad the kids didn’t find it first!) can anyone tell what species it is? I know it’s a weird angle but little things scared and hurt so I just snapped when I could. Grabbed some stuff from pet smart, aquarium carpet/mealworms/calcium powder and ordered a small heat pad for one side of the aquarium. Not sure how long we will keep it. Just wanted to give it an opportunity to heal and recover. I dusted the mealworm with calcium powder but the lizard/gecko has yet to eat it. I sprayed the aquarium with water. Anyone know what it is?
It MIGHT be 1 1/2 or 2 inches long. Very small and bottom of belly is kinda see throughish, I assume it’s very young 
***ALSO can anyone guess the age?

I've owned a lot of types of geckos over the years and worked at a pet store.. I agree with the other commenter who said it could be a tropical house gecko. I do think it sorta looks like it could maaaybe be a crested gecko if it's not a house gecko, too but hard to say with the pic quality. It's probably not eating because it's stressed from being caught and put in a new environment. Very common for reptiles to go a few days without eating when stressed. Consider also offering some small crickets but only 2-3 at a time. Age is difficult to determine with reptiles and without the tail you cant really know how large it actually was (a fully grown house gecko can be 3-5 inches vs a crested which is 8in fully grown). By heal and recover do you mean the tail? Certain species of reptiles have the ability to drop their tail as a defense mechanism for predators. The tail will not grow back if it's a crested. I don't remember if house geckos regrow their tails but if it does, it will look a little funny and takes about 30 days.
