Ovulation question!

Katy

I typically ovulate don't ovulate until 9-10 days

after my period ends. This cycle my period

lasted 5 days instead of the usual 3-4 and I'm

currently still even having spotting and

ovulation test strips say I'm at peak ovulation

right now. How can that be that I'm ovulating

not even 24 hours after the end of my period?

Background - I'm 38. At 37 I delivered my first

baby. I got pregnant with him within the first 2

weeks of trying. When he was 7 months old I

got my period and have been tracking ovulation

with strips and trying to conceive. So it's been

about 9 months of trying with no success.

Didn't know if this was important info given my

age, level of stress with adjusting to being a

new mom, and the fact that I had a baby 15

months ago. Any insight on the not being able

to conceive again is welcome as well!
