Do you wake your baby up to feed them?

Question

How long does your baby sleep before they wake up to eat? Or do you wake them up to feed them? 
My son is a good sleeper but I’ll wake him up at the 5 hour 6 hour mark to feed him. 
Should I be waking him up earlier to feed him or just let him sleep? He usually eats 4oz every 3-4 hours.

I only wake my babies up during the day to feed to stay on a schedule. At night I let them sleep. Some night I get up to 9 hours of sleep (wahoo). If your baby is gaining weight and getting enough calories during the day you don’t need to wake at night to feed.

I only wake my baby during the day. But in the nights I don’t wake him up, he sleeps between 4-5 hours straight.

Once they reach back to their birth weight you no longer need to wake to feed. If baby is sleeping, let them sleep! If you need relief then add a pump session at that time you would normally feed 😄

Mine goes 10-11 hours (he’s on meds that make him sleepy) and our ped said that was fine given his weight. He still eats plenty through the day!

We were told by our pediatrician that our baby didn’t need to be woken up for feedings at night after she got back to her birth weight, but that she shouldn’t go more than four hours more than once a day earlier on. We never needed to wake her up though because she definitely tells us when she’s hungry 😂

No, I never wake up to feed. He’s gone 7 hours sleeping the longest so far and he’s gaining a ton of weight.
