Can being sick during first trimester cause miscarriage?

Everyone in my house is sick (fevers, cough, feeling AWFUL, chills, sneezing, sore throat) so I’m pretty sure I’m definitely going to get it eventually. I literally just found out I was pregnant 4 days ago. Can being sick that early cause any problems with the baby? I’m worried to death bc I’m so early

No. Miscarriages mostly happen when the division of chromosomes happen and one side gets more then the other and the body cannot sustain the pregnancy. (My ob with my first felt the need to explain exactly what happened during a miscarriage)
