They want me to get rid of my fur babies!

I wasn't sure where to post this but I figured this was the best place. Hubby's family is pushing me to get rid of our 3 fur babies. Claiming it's bad for the baby and blah, blah, blah. Since we found out I was pregnant I haven't touched their litter box. My first visit to the OB nurse I made sure to tell her I had cats. She ran a tox screen and it came back fine. My in laws are Asian and my MIL is very superstitious and my BIL is a doctor. They gave me a lecture on Christmas day over Skype about how bad it is to have cats and I should think of the baby. I wanted to cry. One of my fur babies we've had for almost ten years and they just want me to forget about him. Hubby mentions it but isn't really pushing. My in laws hate cats. They're dog people. Our cats are indoor cats. They're very clean and yes one of them likes to sleep in the bed with us but that's cause she's very protective of me since I became pregnant. I'm just in disbelief with them and with hubby. He mentions it whenever he cleans the litter but that's because he's never had to do it before. In my head I just can't grasp the fact that they want me to just throw away my babies. Cause that's what they are. They are my fur babies. I don't know if I'm looking for advice or ranting but I'm just here in tears because everyone (and I mean ALL of hubby's family) is saying to get rid of the cats that have been in our lives for a large period of time. One is almost 10 and the other two are 5. I'm in shock and I'm hurt.
