Levothyroxine??

Has anyone taken this hormone for hyperthyroidism?? I’m going to start it but I’m scared because I read side effect is hair loss .. has anyone experienced that ?

I don't think it causes hair loss. But have you gotten your iodine levels checked?

My husband has a thyroid problem and he was told the thyroid issue alone could cause hair loss. He takes 137 of this medicine every day otherwise he will Pass out

Yes. And it’s supposed to help so you do NOT lose hair since if you are out of range with your thyroid, that’s when you lose hair.
