6 week checkup

So my doctor doesn’t have any appointments till I’m 10 weeks pp… I will be out of town for three weeks from 10-13 weeks pp. So am I supposed to just assume I’m healed after those 4-6 weeks? I had a c-section. I’m kind of irritated that she has no appointments and I’ll be out of town. I’m mainly concerned about working out and sexual activity. Any one else not go to their checkup?
