Maternity Leave

Hey ladies,

I was the momma with the in-home daycare who wanted to close for a week and reopen on November 1. Well I got induced 10/26 at 39+1 and for some reason my baby did not make it. We didn’t need the ECV because he ended up turning on his own. He was a perfect baby. 6.2 pounds 19in long. We had his funeral November 2.

It is now November 7 and we were supposed to reopen today but luckily no one came. I don’t feel ready to reopen but I cannot keep inconveniencing parents either. I am sick to my stomach and my emotions are so sporadic. I want to take this week off as well and just try again next Monday.

Am I wrong for wanting to take another week? Should I just stay on schedule with opening this week since I don’t have a baby to adjust to?
