i don’t keep my money in an account… because i spend it 😵‍💫 my pay goes straight to my savings account. i give myself a budget of $200 give or take and save the rest in my budget book. i suggest everyone gets one!!!
i have saved a couple thousand dollars since i quit drinking and am saving for my first home for myself and two kids!!! i am SO proud of myself. stable job, no drugs/alcohol, emotional stability, mental health, self care & TLC to my kiddos. 
i also have 3 credit cards with minimal spending and my score is going up steadily.
i wasn’t raised with money so i am doing myself a favor and teaching myself financial literacy.

I have $478 in my checking account right now after bills were paid for the month. That does not include my savings, I have about 2k in that.

I can’t legally make more than 2k per month due to Social Security. I have a savings account that I put into each month that has more in it.

Well I’m glad I saw this cuz apparently I have -87 in my account. 
I usually have anywhere from $0-$190 in my checking account. I only use it to pay for gas and car insurance. Our joint checking only has $1400 in it
