Trouble TTC - Silver fillings

Hey, ladies!

My husband and I have been TTC for about 8 months, but nothing has happened yet. There are a few health factors that could be contributing on my part and his (weight, diabetes, high bp, Etc.) so we’re trying to address those. But I’m concerned that a major contributor is that I have silver fillings in 7 of my molars. The more I read up on the ick that comes with silver fillings (I had to read European studies; there aren’t any to speak of out of the US) the more I want them out of my head!

I have a friend that tried for 8 years for her first and couldn’t conceiuntil she had all her silver fillings removed and replace with composite - she conceived very quickly after.

Anyway, I was wondering if any of you had a similar experience and had and thoughts to add. Should I see about getting mine removed? I’m thinking yes…
