In hindsight: what was your first few symptoms of labor?

Asking in birth stories in hopes to educate myself about what to look for and expect? 
I’ve heard everything from contractions to water breaking to pooping 3x lol 😆 (cleaning out) ?!

I just felt sort of off and my back hurt, and then my water just broke lol. I had asked my husband to go buy me a yoga ball to bounce on to start getting baby down and then I was like hmmm I don’t know if you should go. He ended up getting the ball and getting home and 1 hour later we left for the hospital 😂

With my first I was in the bath the night before going into labour and had a feeling wash over me that this was my last bath before birth. I also felt suuuuper calm, sort of just an instinct that I will need a good night rest. Sure enough went into labour next morning, water broke during my morning exercise ☺

my body cleaned out two days prior to giving birth. i was vomiting! my midwife thought i had gastro. but little did we know it was my body cleaning out.

Loss of appetite. 
Pains on the top of my uterus/ stomach but I thought it was gas pains. 
They were not in a timely order. 
My dogs were acting weird, they wouldn’t eat, even my ex dog was acting fine, only mine. 
Then water broke hours later.

First time was induced, loved it!
Second I started feeling a low consistent pressure in my butt. Then it was low consistent pressure in my back. I could hardly feel it. Then I started having period like cramps, and they slowly over about two days got worse and worse. So painful! Then my water broke and he slid right out lol.

Sort of tired and instinctively went home eay...sat down n my water broke! ..that was my first baby n I wound up getting induced q pitocin bc my labor didn't start.. Same thing w my Seco d though they wanted me in sooner ( I'm GBD pos so needed antibiotics as per hospital policy) . My advice after having 2 more inductions w babies 3 n 4 aftwr that but q different meds ( misoorostl)- Ask your Dr about the differen es w the miso n pitocin. My labors were way faster and the 4th was almost relaxing  w the miso. If I d have known there was a choice I would ve asked to get into labor n delivery right after my water broke bc w GBS you can only have your waters broken for 24 hrs before things can get more worrisome...My labor w my forat was 26 hrs after waiting 8 hrs n Baby came out fine.

Just had my second and both were very different experiences. With my first I woke up in the middle of the night feeling wet. So I went to the bathroom and had bloody show and contractions started just after. My water didn’t break until I was pushing. Didn’t have him for 24 hours. Natural birth. With my second, my water broke randomly as I was laying in bed. I didn’t start having contractions for like 4 hours, but things progressed very quickly and he was born almost 9 hours later. Natural birth.
