Mommy with gestational diabetes does you baby have autism or a learning disability now ?

I just read an article where it said babies who have mother who were diagnosed with GB while pregnant pose a higher risk for autism and or learning delays and now I’m worried . Because I have GD . Any advice would help .

As a mom of an amazing kid with autism, I find this post horrible. No, I did not have gestational diabetes. It’s not this awful disease either; it’s an awesome gift where kids don’t label (though they are labeled) don’t see ugliness only facts and are smart with questions every few minutes.

gestational diabetes doesn't affect the babies brain what so ever there is nothing linking that to autism

I had 0 complications while pregnant and my son has autism. It was genetically passed to him cause it's in my family. I'm autistic and my father also potentially is as well. I dontbthink GD would cause autism.
