Bleeding During Sex

my bf and i have been together for a while now, about 4 years to be exact. i just recently got on the depo shot about 2 months ago. i haven’t experienced any type of bleeding at all. no spotting, no period, nothing. but tonight while we were having sex it hurt more than usual. like it felt deeper ig you can say… anyways after there was blood everywhere. on the bed, on the towel, down my leg, etc. i’ve never ever bled during sex not even my first time. what could this be from? should i be worried?
