I just saw someone asking if they should shower with their tampon in. (You shouldn’t by the way) I’ve also seen posts where people on this platform think that there is only one hole down there and you pee, bleed, have sex and do everything with that one hole. Often times we look at it and we are like “what?” And we are judgemental and we laugh at people and tell them that their question is stupid, but it’s not. If you don’t know then you just DON’T KNOW. I didn’t know what my clitoris was until I was about 19. I thought someone I was dating or getting to know automatically gets the boyfriend title, I thought that I got yeast infections because my vagina was dirty. It’s never too late to learn and it’s never a task to be kind. If you can’t be kind then just move along. So I’ll be sharing just a little stuff I can remember from the top of my head and people can comment other stuff too and people who might want to educate themselves, go ahead and read through.

1. You should change your tampon. One tampon shouldn’t be used for your entire cycle.

2. Wash your vagina with unscented soap.

3. In my opinion, it’s better to trim/wax vaginal

Hair rather than shaving because shaving causes more ingrown hair.

4. Exfoliate skin on vagina. This helps with ingrowns too.

5. Do not wash the INSIDE of your vagina. It’s a self cleaning organ.

6. Your vagina shouldn’t smell like honey, strawberries and roses. It’s an organ. As long as the odor isn’t stinky or fishy, you have nothing to worry about.

7. The clear, slimy discharge from a man’s penis when they are aroused can get you pregnant.

8. You can’t get pregnant if you swallow sperm.

9. You can still get pregnant if you’re on birth control.

10. Birth control can change your physical appearance. Personally, I’ve gotten fat.
