Any tips on teaching your 2 year old to be gentle with the new baby?

My 2 year old son is so rough with his little sister. He loves her so much and tries to smother her with kisses! I am trying everything to teach him to be gentle but need tips!

I would demonstrate.
If hes being rough, take his hand and rub the baby very gently. Then when he's done say "good job! You did SO good being G-E-N-T-L-E"
