Cloth diapering
To cloth or not to cloth?
My first we didn’t cloth only because I was talked out of it by family who said it would be a pain, I’d need another washing machine, it’s gross, you touch the poop, you’ll spend more money ruining the diapers then you would get use out of them etc.
Now with the second I would like to cloth BUT I’m seeing a lot of babies getting really bad rashes from cloth diapers and it’s making me worry that it’s not going to be worth it.
My first didn’t have sensitive skin so we were lucky and able to use any kind of disposable diapers. Obviously I don’t know how the second will be but I don’t want to make them suffer because I was to experiment with cloth.
Is cloth diapering worth it?
Is it a time consuming job/run your life?
Best brands and inserts?
If I buy enough diapers for 4 days will they wear out too fast to last 3 years? If I buy enough for a week is that too long in between washing?
Are outfits a struggle for the fluff butts?
Yes cloth is cute but I’m not buying prints to show off the butt so pants are needed.
I’m 10 weeks. When should I start buying?
