I've just had surgery for cervical cancer 3 days ago and have a 6 month old baby, last night i started bleeding really heavily which resulted in a hospital admission, it was found I've teared my stitches by not resting enough. My partner doesn't live with me and lives 45 mins away so he's bearer his children from a past relationship, we're currently looking for a bigger house where I live as I'm currently in emergency housing by my local council and in a 1 bed flat with an 17yr old, 12yr old and a 6 month old. I've asked my partner to come and stay with me this weekend to help me out more with the baby so I can rest more and heal better but he's refusing too as there's nowhere for his daughter to sleep here as we are cramped enough, he sees his daughter near enough ever day as he lives around the corner from her, I just think he's being a bit selfish considering what I've been through and need some help, am I in the wrong here?

I did have a 3 bedroom house but my landlord decided to sell and I havnt found anywhere sobwas put into emergency housing and this is all they had apart from a bedsit in the centre of town which is just 1 room.

My 17yr old works full time as a waitress so she's hardly home and goes to stay with her dad at weekends anyway, he can't have baby at his either as he lives with his parents and they have 2 dogs that arnt great with children
