BFF ruined any surprises :(
So, my SO and I are staying with with family for the holiday and my best friend for the last 17 came over to exchange gifts and talk.
As my Mom walks into the room she suddenly says: HAVE YOU TAKEN A TEST YET? Hello mic drop.
I was speechless and couldn't reply as my face went red and I felt sick to my stomach. Then she said, "well, it could be any kind of test!" Not really. What kind of tests do you take at 9pm? That's NOT how I wanted to tell my Mom. It just felt like she ruined any excitement that could have come with it all. Plus, we might not be pregnant yet!
I'm still so upset about it.
