When does second trimester officially start? Google has conflicting info.

I'm gonna ask my OB at my next appointment but just curious in the meantime. Can't wait to get there!

What my doctor and I use! Many other use it too. I say 14 ☺️

A trimester means 3 months but a pregnancy is 9 months and 1 week long on average so they have to stick the extra week onto one of the trimesters. Everywhere does it a bit different I think but would be either week 13 or 14.
