Birth control IVF protocol

Hi Everyone, I’m feeling a bit down today. I have been working with the fertility specialist and was supposed to start yesterday, but the plan was stopped: basically, I was put on birth control for about two weeks, but they saw one follicle growing despite that, meaning my body didn’t respond well to birth control, and I cannot start hormone injections. It will be delayed till next month. Has anyone else been through this? I feel very down, and not sure if this is a bad sign of my ability to get pregnant or not. Anyone have any advice?
